The Technology Resource Center provides free classes throughout the year for the Leisure World Community on understanding and using the latest advances in tech.
A support team made up of TRC volunteers is critical to the success of these classes. Volunteers help with greeting attendees, distributing materials, monitoring audience needs and occasionally helping demonstrate procedures being taught in the class.
An added benefit when you assist with our classes is learning more about technology yourself, which contributes to how well you can help guests as a monitor at the TRC.
